Why I’m Crazy: Part 1

Right, so my life currently in a nutshell.

I recently accepted an offer by Agile Web Solutions to start helping out with their support email. I’ve been doing that for about a week and a half and I love it. Their product, 1Password, is amazing. I use it all the time, and it saves me a lot of frustration and headache.
Basically the idea is you store all of your passwords in it (mainly website logins, but it also handles whatever other text data you want to secure) and it encrypts them all using OS X’s built-in keychain.
So I’ve been answering support emails for them, and continuing to help out on the support forums. I finally set myself up with a proper avatar, haha.

I’ve also been continuing on with my bread and butter, which is Hurricane Technologies. This week I’m working full days Tuesday and Thursday at Angiotech for them. Which is awesome, I like doing that too. It’s not nearly as convenient as AWS, as I have about a 45 minute drive both ways, but it’s nice to actually get out and see people. Unfortunately a lot of people have this week off, so it’s quieter than usual.  That doesn’t mean I’m any less busy though: we have a quarterly checklist to complete and some wireless issues that have been eating most of my time. I’m on spring break this week. I didn’t make any plans ahead of time I got stuck at home, in Hemlock, where nothing happens. So having someone to talk to in person at least is a bonus. I’m also going to be working this Saturday at the store, so stop by if you’re in Avon. I’ll sell you a USB cable, or something.

And last but not least, I’ve been working with Jordan on getting SideStream Media on it’s feet. As expected I haven’t had many hours to dedicated to my position there, so I put in quite a bit of time on Saturday and all day Monday. I wish I had a cool logo to put next to this paragraph. We’re having a bit of a disagreement about that. I think we should have some sort of symbol (see the above two paragraphs), and Jordan just wants to use the business name in a special font. I think from a marketing perspective, and a “making this post look cool” perspective, it would be better if we had some sort of symbol we could use as a logo.

So, I’ve been crazy lately. I need a real vacation.

At least maybe when break is over we can take another trip to the beach.
