That Time of the Year
Well, it’s that time of year. No, not Christmas. FINALS. I just finished my last one. I had 3, all today. Now I’m done for the semester though, and that is such a relief.
I’m looking at a house for next semester.
In other news, I’ve migrated (almost) all my crap to Google Apps. My gmail forwards there, I’ve got iCal setup to sync there, my important docs are there, etc. Some things I’m still missing: Google Reader, and other misc Google Account services. Because I don’t have an actual ‘Google Account’ for my Google Apps name… those services won’t transfer. I haven’t found an easy way to create a new Google account and migrate those kinds of things over. Hopefully Google makes that easier in the future.
More below the break.
I’ve started to participate on the Google Apps Help forum, and just today I reached Level 2! What does that mean? I get to use bold and italics and can actually make links to things. I know, you’re impressed, right? Anyway, they have this whole Power Poster’s program that I’m working towards where you can get cool things for free like… Google Apps! And Google schwag and other cool stuff.
I made a new home page for myself, to serve as a hub for everything I do online. It still needs some work, and I’m not sure I’m in love with the design, but it’s there. You can check it out at http://benw.us/
Last but not least, I talked to Jordan the other day and we might try to pick back up with the Minimal Perfection podcast. It’s not official yet, so don’t get all excited, but I would like to at least put 1 more episode out before we call it dead.
That’s all for now folks, have a great holiday if I don’t write before then!
